Financial Controller

Our client, a well know entity in their industry, is looking for a CA (SA) Financial Controller to join their Retail Reporting division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Management Accounting and Forecast process for the Retail Division Responsibilities include: Preparing, reviewing and analysing management reporting information, budget and forecasting requirements and turnover and operational dashboard reporting Being responsible for the preparation of presentations for key internal management meetings relating to financial performance and reporting requirements Variance reporting, trend analysis, reviews and detailed investigations Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements relating to financial control in income statement and balance sheet reporting and investigating financial control weaknesses Collaborating with the other finance department managers to support overall goals and objectives Reviewing, assessing, streamlining and enhancing existing processes to ensure on time delivery Reporting development, ensuring quick turnaround for operational reporting needs in line with changes required by the dynamic business environment Being responsible for maintenance of profit centre (PC) and chart of accounts hierarchy as well as BPC master data dimensions to ensure that it is in line with reporting needs Being the key support for the implementation of BPC financial system, including system and report testing Being responsible for ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, and other similar or related duties Requirements: CA (SA) 1 - 3 years' post qualification experience PowerPoint intermediate Microsoft Excel intermediate BPC / SAP / BI advantageous
