Summarized Job Function: • Communicate and ensure compliance of all HR policies & procedures. • Conduct consultation sessions with employees relating to any Operational and/or contractual changes. • Draft and implement business processes such as performance management, etc. • Employment Equity compliance, planning, meetings, reporting and monitoring • Enable effective terminations and reporting thereof (dismissals, retrenchments, etc.) • Evaluate Disciplinary Codes for effectiveness and efficiency • Industrial relations, union interactions and handling of grievances • Initiate and manage internal and external Learnerships for disabled candidates. • Legislative and industry specific compliance • Manage the recruitment and hiring process within the business. • Provide daily human resources/operational support to employee inquiries. • Provide effective administrative support to management • Provide generalist Human Resources Support to all operations • Responsible for BEEE Scorecard in the business. • Successfully handle CCMA and labour related issues, utilizing own experience and 3rd party Referrals to ensure risk mitigation • Support and assist the organization with Employee Engagement • Support the operation and business in the development, management & wellbeing of all staff • Train and support line managers as well as the rest of the business on HR related aspects including staff development and labour matters. • Undertake learnership programmes and liaise with SETA and training institutions • Undertake section 189 where necessary • Update Occupational Levels, Learning and development, engagements, skills reporting, and implement training • Work with line managers to ensure fair employee promotions in line with diversity targets and meeting the set skills criteria. • Working directly with the CEO to deliver on HR undertakings.
• In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations. • Expertise in industrial relations and experience in handling employee grievances and unions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent task prioritizing and organizing ability • Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. • Demonstrates practical application and exercise judgment concerning human resources policies, processes, employment law, and government compliance regulations. • The ideal candidate will be assertive while being driven to build relationships and rapport within the organization and maintain a high level of professionalism. • Understanding of Logistic, Distribution and Warehousing industry concepts is important. 🔴 Attention Applicants!
