Work closely with executives and managers to obtain a good understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every role to ensure hiring goals and expectations are achieved. Manage the entire recruiting life cycle across all departments, and assist with finding, hiring, and retaining quality talent. Maintain a database of qualified candidates to choose from when positions become available. Remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates, and create and post job descriptions and announcements. Maintain all recruitment platforms and systems used by the company (i.e., SageHR, company career page, etc.) Conduct interviews using various methods and compile candidate assessments. Perform candidate background checks. Prepare recruitment status reports and dashboards. Perform general human resource administrative duties to assist the HR team. Acknowledge and adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.
5+ years experience in recruitment and human resources. Experience in developing and implementing recruitment strategies. In-depth knowledge of employment and labour laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a sense of ownership and accountability. Flexible and able to meet the needs of the company. Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office, Google Suite, HR and Recruitment software such as Sage or BambooHR).
