• Responsible for the full recruitment process and ensuring it is applied in line with company policies and procedures. Guide and work with line management to ensure the recruitment process is quick and effective in obtaining the best-suited candidates • Ensure procedures regarding induction and training of staff is effective and optimally functional • Create healthy relationships with employees in the workplace through regular branch visits and identify concerns with relevant managers • Guide and mentor line management to ensure healthy people practices in the workplace • Resolve conflict in the workplace by means of facilitation and conciliation • Provide IR support, advice and information to the managers when required • Facilitate IR processes where needed in terms of conflict resolution • Ensure that discipline is applied consistently and fairly in the workplace and keep statistical records in this regard • Provide correct and timely communication to head office on changes or payroll, new recruits etc. (including other conditions of employment) • Management of the performance appraisal process • Ensure high staff morale is established and low turnover is maintained • Through statistical reports, analyse trends to assist with people management
