Credit Controller Blackheath Cape Town EE Position Our client in Blackheath Cape Town is looking for an experienced Credit Controller with 5 years plus ongoing maintenance of Debtor’s accounts, Opening of Accounts, and Timeous collection of Overdue Accounts/Order Releasing. Ad hoc administration duties as well. This is an EE Position ONLY Salary R 25000 – R 30 000 (Benefits included) working Mo to Thursday 7:30 to 5 pm and Friday 7:30 to 3pm Min qualification MatricMin of 5 years of credit control experienceExperience in ARMA + software will be a benefitExperience in an ERP System is an advantageExperience in manufacturing will be an advantageExperience in managing multiple sites and branch organization Responsibilities Full debtors’ function – multiple branches (one of 3 Credit Controllers)Full responsibility for collections on outstanding sundry, intercompany, fixer subcontractorscash transaction accountsProcess new customer credit applications received from branches, ensuring all accompanying documents are submitted and information is accurate as per procedureReceive & process customer credit limit reviews as per procedureManage the debtor’s order hold process when accounts are overdue, or the customer has exceeded the credit limit and take appropriate action as per proceduresMaintain live database of debtors, i.e. opening and closing overdue accountsClosing dormant accounts reducing/increasing credit limitsUpdating new information received on a debtor so that the master file databaseOpen new customer accounts as per procedureOpen new fixer subcontractors’ accounts as per procedureProcess of invoices on the manufacturing systemCorrection journals – accounts receivable & general journals as per procedure;
