NEW EMPLOYMENT AVAILABLE Title: Junior (or Graduate) Accountant Area: Newcastle Industry: Financial Accounting (Group of companies) Ref No.: TRG 2098 Salary: Market related TCTC available/negotiable Start Date: As soon as possible / Immediate prefered An opportunity for an experienced JUNIOR (OR GRADUATE) ACCOUNTANT is required for permanent employment based in Newcastle. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • To provide various Accounting related functions and duties within a group of companies EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: • BCom (Accounting), preferably with articles and active professional body membership (SAICA, SAIPA, ACCA) • Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accountant or Bookkeeper with 1 to 2 years Post articles experience. • High level of confidentiality • Strong work ethics and integrity • Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and accounting standards • Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Excel • Outstanding organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports • Accuracy and attention to detail • Aptitude for numbers • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks • Newcastle residency required
